When installing the centrifugal pump, the verticality between the end face of the coupling and the axis must be checked. Adjust the concentricity adjustment, align and center the coupling, otherwise it will cause vibration, noise, damage to the damping block, and will seriously affect the normal operation of the shaft, bearing and other parts on the shaft.

1) Eliminate the height difference of the coupling concentricity first, and the motor shaft should be lifted upward with shims. This means that the front support and the rear support should be cushioned under the seat at the same time. Add pads of different thickness under the two supports, and the pads added to the front support should be slightly behind the rear support.
2) A flat ruler or feeler gauge can be used to roughly measure the misalignment of the coupling. Use the counter wheel of the centrifugal pump as a reference to measure and adjust the motor-to-coupling to center the motor and the pump. 3) Use a dial indicator and a meter frame or a special aligning tool to measure the misalignment and non-parallelism of the two couplings, mount the dial indicator to the pump end, align the dial indicator to zero, and rotate the counter wheel once. There is a value every 90 degrees, and the dial indicator returns to zero when it returns to its starting position. The sum of the left and right readings should equal the sum of the upper and lower values. Then analyze the relative spatial position of the two axes according to the readings, and make appropriate adjustments according to the deviation value. First adjust the left and right deviation of the coupling to the allowable value, and then adjust the height to within the standard. This method is suitable for rotating equipment with high speed, rigid connection and high precision requirements.
